I LOVE getting roast chicken from the supermarket! So now begins my next cooking adventure. First things first. I'm not sure what cooking tool to make this with- rotisserie that turns constantly, roast pan, Dutch oven, or my ceramic chicken roaster. Michael got me the ceramic chicken roaster for my birthday. So that is what I'm going to try. I'm still not 100% sure what to put in the cavity. Most recipes I've read include lemon, rosemary, wine, or onion. It definitely seems important that you pull up the skin and put butter underneath- don't know how to do that. Then, finally do you put a rub or marinade or it? I guess practice makes perfect.
